Benson Kelsey is a seasoned, creative PR pro that strives to find innovative ways to create a buzz around his clients and their projects. Recognized for his strong writing, detailed event planning, and strategic traditional and social media relationships, his experience includes representing technology, architecture, hospitality and non-profit clients.
Benson started his career in Silicon Valley before he arrived in Austin, Texas. His solid background of work in a diverse set of technology markets including consumer electronics, software, semiconductor and VoIP makes him a unique asset to the Accolades Public Relations team. He brings with him a strong agency background with some of the best firms in both regions. He has managed a variety of impressive projects from product launches for start-ups like Akimbo, Roku and U3 to managing large-scale national media programs for household names like Adobe, AMD and Skype.
When he is not wearing his PR hat, Benson juggles a full set of interests and hobbies. He is an avid writer, self-proclaimed foodie and a rock star DJ. He regularly contributes to Eat and Drink Austin and performs at clubs around the city known as the Live Music Capital of the World. He is often found enjoying a run with his dog, Disko or donating his time and services to local non-profits throughout Austin.
