With his distinctive passion and unique creativity, Carlos Borberg is able to effectively plan and deliver innovative and effective communications campaigns. At Accolades Public Relations, he plays a key role in the development and execution of public relations and social media strategies.
Carlos possesses a great deal of knowledge in the creation and production of social media content, public relations campaigns and broadcast quality work for the film and music industry as well as for the high-tech, education and small business sectors. He also conducts media relations campaigns for a variety of clients in these industries.
He is the co-founder of Pyrat Republik Productions, an Austin-San Antonio based company that specializes in the production of multiple formats of audio recordings, specialty podcasts and voice-overs. While in San Antonio, Carlos launched successful campaigns for local artists and bands while he produced and managed ongoing podcasts for local universities and businesses. He also monitored social media campaigns, managed creative, and developed web marketing programs for his clients.
Carlos graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor’s degree in communications, with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in international relations. He is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Hispanic Public Relations Association, and more recently joined the Austin Social Media Club chapter.
